Let’s talk about

Counseling

Counseling (aka therapy) is all about giving you a safe and supportive place to figure out the stuff that’s keeping you from being the person you want to be and living the life you want to live.

Sorry if that sounds a bit cheesy, but I truly believe that’s the power of therapy when you have the right therapist and are willing to do the work.

I’ve seen it with hundreds of clients I’ve worked with… and it’s been true for me in my own personal journey.

You might feel lost or maybe even a bit hopeless, and that’s on okay place to start. By working together, you can become empowered to recognize and change what’s keeping you stuck and miserable. Even if you’ve struggled for a long time.

It won’t be easy. But if you don’t need easy, and you just need possible… we got this!

How I can help you…

My “big S” specialties are adults struggling with eating disorders, OCD, and trauma, but there are many other “little S” specialties that fall under my clinical expertise. Because let’s face it… our mental, emotional, and spiritual health is complex! Rarely are we working on just one thing in therapy.

I’m an eclectic therapist who draws on many proven modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences. The therapy techniques I use include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Somatic / Polyvagal Therapy
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
Brainspotting Therapy
Christian Counseling (if requested)

I work with a range of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, OSFED, and ARFID.

OCD Therapy

Therapy for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) can give you relief from the exhausting cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsions.

PTSD and Trauma Therapy

Healing trauma is important since because trauma affects us on so many levels, even if we don’t fully realize it.
